Laser Focus On Your Target Audience With PPC Advertising

Offline advertising is growing by 7% per year, while internet advertising is speeding ahead with a 32% annual growth rate. Traditional media is losing its market share as companies increasingly move their ads to the online media, specifically in the paid search arena. Some time ago, Ford Motor Company moved 10% of its budget away from radio/TV to web advertising.

Advertising in online media has some definite advantages over offline media in terms of cost, reach, interactivity, targeting the right markets and measuring responses. This is why internet advertising is now becoming hot property for marketers!

Of all advertising (telemarketing, magazine advertising, newspapers, radio, TV, banner ads, email marketing, etc.), PPC advertising provides the most qualified leads and is proven to have the highest sales conversion rate. This is because, unlike other forms of advertising, your ad is only displayed when your prospective customer is searching for your products or services. This is why nearly 40% of all online advertisements are now pay per click campaigns.

The trend of advertisements within the online medium is fast changing too. While search engine optimisation is becoming vital for making your website emerge above competition, pay per click advertising is providing a very cost effective means to reach your target audience.

According to The Kelsey Group and ConStat, Inc, small-business PPC advertisers currently allocate on average 23% of their total advertising budget to PPC activities. Of these, 54% expect to increase their PPC spending the next year. Paid search has undoubtedly become the hottest means of online advertising.

What is a PPC Ad

Pay per click campaigns (PPC) are defined as the guaranteed placement of a small "ad" on the search results page for a specific keyword or keywords. Your PPC ads are displayed when a user searches for your services/products. This means PPC ads are targeting those customers who are actively seeking your product/services.

No matter what your budget is, you only need to pay for the customers who click your link. PPC campaigns are suitable for all types of businesses.

Major PPC campaigns

There are two major pay per click campaigns: Google AdWords, owned by Google and Yahoo! Search Marketing, which is Yahoo's PPC service.

Pay per click advertising is growing at a very fast pace. According to Forbes, by 2008, companies will spend $8 billion a year on PPC advertising. As a result, PPC is going to be more expensive and competitive in the future, which means campaigns will have to be even more professionally managed to ensure the best return on investment.

Advantages of PPC advertising over other ad media

Speed: PPC reaches its target market at a fast rate as compared to other online and offline advertisements. You can have an ad up and running in less than an hour.

Sales Lead: Pay Per Click advertising generates more qualified leads as compared to other advertising media, as it targets customers who are actively seeking out your products/services.

Track the lead conversion: You can track the lead conversion of a PPC campaign very easily.

Cost: PPC is a cost effective means of reaching global customers, much cheaper than traditional media, which is usually limited to the immediate audience within its reach (be it TV, radio or print). Only web marketing can give you global reach at such a cost effective rate.

Ongoing improvements: In a newspaper ad, if it contains bad ad copy, it is likely that no one will respond and all your money goes down the drain. The costs would include paying the ad agency for the ad and then the newspaper/publication for the ad space. Similarly in the case of radio or television, if your ad campaign is not appealing or convincing, the whole effort and money investment is simply going to go waste. If no one clicks your PPC ad, you will not lose money as you wouldn’t have incurred much of a cost, and you can tweak the ad copy, until you achieve results you want.

How do I make my PPC campaign get conversions?

The key to successful PPC campaign bid management lies in:

Keyword research – any PPC campaign starts with effective keyword research. Selecting the best basket of keywords at the most cost effective cost per click is a specialised skill developed from running numerous campaigns;

Writing compelling ad copy - similar to other media, ads need to be written in a way that encourages your target market to take action, i.e. click on your advert. Selecting appropriate emotional trigger words are crucial;

Writing and designing attractive compelling landing pages - a task cut out for expert ad copy writers and web designers because this is the make-or-break page that the visitor comes to. If your ad copy can win their interest, you have a good chance of converting the sales lead.

Effective PPC campaigns require a lot of market research, keyword research, competition analysis as well as proper campaign management and monitoring. If you educate yourself and have enough time to focus on your campaigns there is no reason why you should not be able to achieve good results. Without the due focus, you can erode your budget in no time.
If you’d prefer to outsource your PPC campaign management to a specialist to benefit from their expertise, make sure the pay per click company has the skills and experience to effectively manage your PPC campaign.

Check out their processes, find out how they plan to manage your PPC advertising campaign step-by-step, and make sure they have a proven record of high conversion rates. For example, CleverClicks is a professional Australian search engine marketing company which provides a detailed step by step process of PPC campaign management. Whether you decide to outsource or not, with the right focus, PPC can bring phenomenal results to your company.

Using Google Adwords Effectively

Setting up an account:

To do this you just go here: https://adwords.google.com/select/login Google adwords has provided a very detailed and useful “Sign-up Demo” which is in the form of a video you can use to refer to as you go through the process of signing up.

One of the best things that Google adwords has to offer is the statistical information this can save you lots of money and help you target your prospects in the most cost effective manner imaginable. BUT, if you don’t understand or use this service you may be throwing you hard earned money away in effectively. Now we don’t want to do that because it defeats the purpose.

Because there are so many variables involved in using adwords it’s difficult if not impossible to explain exactly how you should run your campaign. The best way is going to be different for everyone reading this, but I can help you to interpret the statistics that you see and then you can “tweak” your ads to get the most out of them for your particular promotion.

For starters, you should use the “conversion tracking” option.

After you click on “conversion tracking” you’ll need to choose “get Conversion page code”, there you can follow the instructions and choose the one that suits your needs.

The code that Google generates is then pasted into the page described when you chose the option that suits you. To insert this code follow Google’s directions or See above.

Having this code in place will enable Google to provide you with statistics that you can use to assess the effectiveness of a Campaign or ad group.

I recommend having your adwords account running for a day or two before trying to understand this next bit.

For example: (Talking about Search totals only) if an ad is being shown 1,000 times (Impr) and only has a CTR of 0.20 (displayed as a percentage) it means that your ad is being shown, but the people that see it aren’t clicking on it very often, or they aren’t seeing it. So it could be either because the ad is showing in a poor position (Avg. pos) 213.7 this would be on about page 15 or something, there may be a lot of competition for that word, you would need to raise the bid to try and get it to be seen more often. Or it could be well positioned (Avg.pos) 1.1 but not being clicked on because it is poorly written or not targeted to the keyword people are searching on. Or the key word/s could be too general.

So you would need to improve the wording of the ad, or choose more targeted key words. This is an extremely generalized synopsis.

Conversion Rate:

It is necessary to consider the (Conv. rate) 20% this is the percentage of actual sales/sign-ups resulting from the “Clicks”, So if you find that your ad is receiving a lot of clicks but the conversion rate is low, it may be an indication that either your ad is misleading! People click on the ad and go to your landing page expecting to see motor cycles and find chickens there! Or it could mean that your landing page is just poorly constructed, and not conducive to getting the sign up or making the sale.

A rule of thumb to get started is this: Use Google’s “Keyword tool” to select keywords from your landing page this will help ensure the keywords match the landing page. Let’s say you’re selling apples. People searching to buy apples will search for a keyword like “apples for sale” you will have “apples” as one of your keywords for the ad, because you would have “apples” on your landing page. Your ad wording might be something like, “we sell Apples”. So The customer is looking for apples finds an ad that says “go here to buy apples” they land on a page that sells apples, we have a synchronization happening all the way through, and that is cost effective target market tactics.

A Campaign can contain many different ad groups; an ad group can contain many different ads.

Split Testing:

And ads can be split tested. This means running two ads using the same keywords and settings as though they are one ad, but alternating shows of each ad, Google adwords does this part of it for you. After you make the ad that you wish to test, you then let it run for at least a day or two, and then you can assess which ad is better, using Google’s stats such as Clicks – CTR – CPC, and the number of times each ad has been shown, over a given period of time “Served” then discard the looser. Like a competition.

Step-By-Step How Anyone Can Make Money With Adsense

There are heaps of ebooks and membership sites on the online teaching you how to make money with Adsense websites. With so much information, you’ll be overloaded. Well I’ve read them, joined them and know what works and what does not. Here’s my advice.

Adsense is a Google advertising tool that is placed on your website. The ads that are shown on the website are determined by your content – the text on your website.

If you have pages and pages of articles on a certain topic, such as “Internet Marketing” then the ads shown will be all be related to that topic.

Your webpages should contain keyword related to internet marketing such as “email marketing”, “Adsense”, “ebooks”, “web traffic”, “affiliate programs” etc…

Therefore the visitor on your website will likely click on the ads since they have an interest in them. Otherwise they wouldn’t be reading your article in the first place.

So the most important thing you need for a good website that generates automatic income using Adsense is “Content”. Where do you get this content? There are three ways:

- Write the content yourself
- Pay someone to write the content (about $5 per article, the cheapest rate currently)
- Buy Public Label Resale (PLR) articles and alter the content

The easiest way is the last option – Buy PLR articles and change the words yourself.

With PLR articles you can do whatever you want with the article and even add your name to it so that you’re the author. There are many places on the internet where you can buy these articles. They are normally sold in a batch of 10 or more that are related to a certain topic.

You can even purchase websites with PLR articles in them and have an Adsense website online right away. Again there are many places to buy these Adsense websites on particular niches.

Now the following advice is worth gold so please read carefully.

You can’t just buy ready made websites with PLR articles and put in on the web. You’ll have so many competitors with the exact same site and the search engines will ban you for having duplicate content. You’ll have no search engine traffic and you can forget about people clicking on your website.

What you have to do is alter the PLR articles. My recommendation is to alter them by 50% to be on the safe side. I alter all my PLR articles 50% before placing them on my website. This makes them original and therefore more valuable. Search engines will index all of your pages so your website will be listed under several keywords depending on the content.

The next thing you need is a good design for your website that will contain all your own articles with other people’s articles mixed. For the website, you can either design it yourself or buy a template.

A word of warning. Make sure the design makes the Adsense ads stand out on your website and also blend in with the background. For example, make the ads borderless and the colour to be the same as your website. This way, it seems that the ads are really part of your website. People tend to dislike clicking on ads.

These are the 2 most important things for an Adsense website. However, there are other additional things you need such as:

- XML maps which Google loves to search and index
- A script to rotate your articles so that it seems that your website has new content updated regularly
- Link exchanges with other websites so that you get traffic from them and also get ranked higher by search engines
- Search Engine Optimize your website so that it ranks high in the search engines

The final piece of the puzzle for a successful website is to drive traffic to it. You can do this also by purchasing PLR articles and modifying the words so that you can add your name to it. After that submit it to article directories and with your resource box at the bottom, people will read it and visit your website.

PLR articles are very important. You need it for the content of your website and to drive traffic to your website.

That’s all you need to create a website you can put on the internet that makes you money on auto-pilot. It will sound overwhelming for beginners but there are easier ways.

For information on recommended resources and websites on helping create Adsense sites easily, send a blank email to my autoresponder ne-art1@aweber.com

Additionally, with Adsense websites you need lots of them to make a respectable income. If you have a website making $2 a day then in a month you’ll be earning $60. However, if you have 50 websites and they are all making $2 a day, then you’ll have a monthly income of $3000. Now tell me if that’s attractive enough for you to start.

Make Money Online With Google AdWords

More and more people in today's world use the Internet as a tool to get or sell product, service or information.

The trend is that most of those users use keywords search, not directories or categories. Google holds the half market of keywords search.

Meanwhile, PPC (pay per click) campaign has hit the web like a storm. Pay per click campaign attracts much more interest from both advertisers and webmasters.

Keywords or key phrases are terms that a possible client would use to find your product or service. Keywords research is a continuous never-ending process that can help increase traffic and attract targeted visitors.

The best answer for PPC campaign to promote your products (including affiliate programs) is Google AdWords. To select your affiliate programs, the easiest way is to sign up to Click Bank, Commission Junction and LinkShare.

Google has leveraged their market share as the internet's top search engine to deliver their version of the pay per click advertising model. Sign up for the AdWords program is free and they only require a $5 USD deposit before they will start to display your ad. It’s easy to run and control.

Google's AdWords service has brought success to many businesses by providing them with a large amount of highly targeted traffic from as little as 1 cents per visitor. However, there is probably an equal number of webmasters who have paid for AdWords and seen little benefit or have indeed made substantial losses. If the latter applies to you, then the following may be useful to you.

The problem with Google AdWords is that it has become very difficult to find keywords at a reasonable price. Bidding on keywords like "make money online" or something in that range will kill your advertising budget in no time.

In my personal experience, it seems that a good market will be between 40,000 to 100,000 searches for that particular month. Less than that may be a weak market, and more than that could be too competitive. To find out for sure, you can use the Overture bidding tool for a particular word or phrase, and look at the third bid, it should be at least .30 up to $2.00. Again, less than .30 could be weak and more than $2.00 could be too competitive. You know, Overture is similar to Google AdWords, just it shows you the bid list.

For keywords selection, the best one is Ad Word Analyzer 3.0. You can “Discover the Quick and Easy Way to Drive Massive Amounts of Laser-Targeted Traffic to Your Site Today”. Please pay more attention on Targeted Traffic. I want to say “only targeted traffic will soar your sale”.

It seemed not very difficult to make profit online with Google AdWords: just join an affiliate program, promote it on Google Adwords and get commissions.
However, you have to learn more about Google AdWords for your living. But the more you learn, the more you will make. I believe it is your new lifestyle to make money online with Google AdWords.

7 Powerful Ways To Make Money From Adsense Using Only Free Tools

There is really no doubting that there are amazing incomes currently being made on Google Adsense and the really interesting thing is that even relatively small sites and blogs are finding new ways to make money from their Adsense sites every day.

Actually there are a lot of increasingly creative ways to make money and maximize on Adsense earnings that are being discovered and also being put to use every day. And what’s even more fascinating is the fact that most of these tools being used don’t cost anything. They are actually free. Here are 7 of the most effective currently being used.

a) Ways to make money from Adsense by Distributing articles through ezine and article announcement lists

Some of the most effective methods ways to make money from Adsense clicks involve the simple step of just increasing the volume of targeted traffic to a site. One of the ways of doing this is by distributing interesting content to ezine lists and article announcement lists. It is not too difficult to quickly build a list that reaches a million or so email boxes and can thus give a lot of visibility and drive tons of highly targetd traffic to your Adsense site or sites. Probably the most popular place for doing this is at Yahoo groups, but there are a few others that you can find easily by using your favorite search engine.

Success here depends on three main factors. Firstly you should be careful to join article announcement lists and ezine lists that are as relevant as possible to your subject matter and offering. Secondly your headline has to be a killer headline that will grab readers by the scruffs of their necks and force them to open your email message amongst the dozens or even hundreds of others they receive daily. It goes without saying that the content must meet the promise of your sensational headline. Anything less will cause annoyance and leave all those potential visitors to your Adsense site feeling cheated. And believe me, you don’t want to cause this sort of reaction because it is definitely not one of the ways o make money from Adsense or any other program for that matter. Thirdly, you will need the sort of resource box in all your articles that will leave most of your readers with no option but to visit your Adsense site.

Within a very short of consistently applying this technique, my daily Adsense earnings increased seven-fold.

b) Ways to make money from Adsense by Distributing free articles to high traffic article sites
Some people find the recent trends that have seen an increase in article sites surprising. I don’t. The net is primarily an information-seeking tool. Anything that will help improve the search and quality of information will greatly benefit the people making that effort.

Some of the older article directories receive very high traffic, mainly from web masters and site owners seeking quality free content for their sites. So apart from the immediate exposure these sites also guarantee plenty of future targeted traffic to your site, when folks find your articles useful enough to re-post at their sites.

The more new articles you release to these sites every week, the more targeted traffic your Adsense sites will receive. This is in fact one of the most effective ways of making money consistently from Adsense clicks. One of the reasons for this is that targeted traffic will tend to spend more time at your site or sites, and the more time they spend, the higher the chances that they will click one one of the Adsense ads posted there.

c) Ways to make money from Adsense by Using Articles And A Viral Marketing Website

Any online marketing technique that involves the use of referral marketing or viral marketing automatically has a huge chance of being a success. The net is ideal for viral marketing and in fact gives any viral marketer huge leverage. Viral marketing or referral marketing is one of the most effective ways to make money online. Just ask Bill Gates.

When Gates was trying to play catch up on the Internet after an earlier mistake of underestimating the future importance of the net, he launched his Hotmail free email service when rivals like Yahoo already had millions of users. He decided to use a simple referral marketing technique. Every Hotmail message that went out had a brief signature at the end requesting the recipient to sign up for their free Hotmail account. Within a few short months, Hotmail had millions of users. And there are many other amazing stories which viral marketing boasts of on the net.

There is one of the very simple ways to make money from Adsense by going viral. Sign up at a leading viral marketing site. You will automatically get your own viral site. You can then use some of your articles to point people to your viral site. The way these sites work is that anybody who signs up at your site will have to visit your Adsense site if you register it at the site. So within a very short time you will be driving thousands of visitors to your Adsense site.

Find more details on this at my blog whose address you'll find in the resource box below.

Admittedly this traffic is less targeted. Still the huge potential and possible numbers you are able to receive using this free tool more than makes up for this.

d) Ways to make money from Adsense With Your Email signature

People greatly underestimate the power and potential effectiveness of a simple email signature as one of the ways to make money online. Actually this is a viral marketing method because emails get forwarded all the time and are even copied to several other people sometimes.

Do not waste another minute. Go to all your email accounts right now and create a signature that points to your Adsense site or sites.

Writing effective email signatures is a skill that you will have to develop, but I have found that using famous quotes is more effective than a straight advertising message. Always remember that people hate to be advertised to online.

e) Ways to make money from Adsense By Asking Questions At Discussion groups

I recently had an interesting conversation with a young Internet and computer techie. He asked me whether there were quick ways to make money online by answering technical questions and helping people to solve their computer and web-related problems. My answer was that there were many discussion groups where participants would get these answers for free. I advised him that he had a better chance of making money by making use of this free advice available online rather than by trying to sell his own advice.

There are tons of online discussion groups where leading world experts will answer your questions and give you valuable insight for free. It is amazing why most people do not think of using these online forums to learn as much as they can about the most effective ways of making money from Adsense.

These forums can easily be found through you favorite search engine.

f) Ways to make money from Adsense By Bartering your online skills for valuable Adsense keywords

In the old days, before the invention of money, if somebody needed something, the first question they asked themselves was; “What is it that I already have that I can exchange for what I need? Barter trade seems to have been forgotten but it is a very powerful method of trading. More so online where people have plenty of skills but are slow to trust others enough to send them money for an item they need.

You can barter whatever it is you have, your skills, products or services, and exchange them for genuine valuable Adsense keywords. Valuable Adsense keywords are the most effective way for a small site with low traffic to earn big cash from Adsense. And you can do this barter trade on an ongoing basis so that you always have a constant supply of valuable Adsense keywords which you can use at your site or blog as one of the ways to make more money from Adsense.

g) Ways to make money from Adsense By Sending Teaser Emails

To Everybody In Your Inbox And Also To Your Opt-in Email List
Most of us receive tons of email in our inbox every day. You’ll be surprised at the huge number of people you know by simply going through your email inbox. No matter how good your spam filters are, you are also bound to be receiving more than your fare share of SPAM or unsolicited email. All this is “gold” lying in your email inbox and there are ways to make money using these emails. All you need to do to process the emails into pure gold is to send out “teaser emails about the most interesting aspects of content at your site. The whole objective of teaser emails is to get people to visit your site. For instance if I were to send out teaser email on this content here is how I would construct it;

How Much Money Can I Make with Google Adsense?

Anyone who is taking part in Google AdSense program is asking this question - how much lovely bucks will it give to me?

Surely don't expect that Google will tell you how much money was paid by AdWords advertisers for each click that was made on your site. Why? Because Google decided that this way it will be better. We can love it, we can hate it - but this is how Google decided to do that

Those who do not like - can simply not put AdSense codes on their pages and hit the big Google into the very heart No really, if about 30% of the sites in the net take AdSense ads away, this will be a serious jab to Google, but as they keep using the lovely ads - this is the best proof that everybody is happy.

When you are going to estimate your future profits with Google AdSense program you need to take 2 factors into account:

- your traffic volume
- your traffic source

Volume is the amount of people who come to your site or blog, come on a regular basis.

Source is from where these people come. It is proven by real case experience that people who come from search engines are very good clickers on the AdSense ads.

Then it all comes down to how you position the ads on your pages and what click through rate (CTR) you will have. 5% CTR is considered to be very good. Over 10% CTR - something you can boast about.

And the last thing to consider - your niche. Surely advertiser in investments, loans, mortgages, health insurances, real estate are paying more per click than cheaper niches. But you can compensate it with getting plugged into less competitive niche.

Now, let's do the calculations.

You have 1,000 unique visitors per day to your blog about mortgage (tough niche, by the way). Out of them you know by your traffic stats that 500 come from search engines. You also know that for the traffic which comes from search engines you have 5% CTR. And you know that averagely and advertiser in this niche is paying $1.00

Then it means your average profits for the part of traffic which comes from search engines should be:

500 people X $1.00 X 0.05 = $25.00 (daily)

Surely these are averages, life is more flexible and unexpected. But now you can think in terms of some figures.

Make Money With Credit Card Affiliate Programs

If you’ve been around affiliate marketing any time at all, then most of you know that Web Hosting Affiliate Programs pay some of the top commissions in the industry. What many of you don’t know is that Credit Card Affiliate Programs pay a lot more than Web Hosting Affiliate Programs in most cases.

While most web host will pay you between $25 and $100 per sign up, there are many Credit Card affiliate programs that will pay you $50 to $300 per sign up. Some of these affiliate programs will pay you every time someone fills out a credit card application while others just pay you whenever someonen you refer qualifies for a credit card.

WHY CREDIT CARD AFFILIATE PROGRAMS CAN BE MORE LUCRATIVE THAN WEB HOSTING AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

Well, it’s simple really. How many people do you know need Web Hosting? Now how many people do you know need a Credit Card? Yeah, now you’re seeing the potential.

While you may have a hard time getting people to sign up under your webhosting affiliate program, simply because most people don’t need it, most credit card programs work well simply because you’ll be steering people to the sign up page with your affiliate link. Most of these programs have multiple cards to choose from, so if your Customer has bad credit, no problem, there’s a card for that. Do the want a credit card with reward points? No problem, most programs have those cards available. Have someone who wants a credit card with balance transfer? You guessed it, most programs have cards available for that also.

If you choose a Credit Card affiliate program that pays you per applications filled out, (which they pay around $2 to $5 per application), you may find that you can get more people filling out CC applications than are approved for the Cards. It just depends on what type of traffic you’re targeting.

Once you realize that it’s quite easy to steer people through your affiliate link, you start to realize the potential available to you to make money with these programs. In many cases, it’s as easy as putting your affiliate links where people who need credit cards will find them.

HOW TO GET STARTED MAKING MONEY WITH CREDIT CARD AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

There are a lot of credit card affiliate programs out there today. Due to the credit crisis we’ve fast over the last year or so, the number of credit card companies using affiliate programs has declined, but there are still plenty of others out there to make this a profitable venture.

One program that Beginners can get started in the Credit Card Affiliate business with is My Credit Card Cash. When you sign up with them, they give you a website already pre-populated with nearly 100 card offers. All that you must due is to promote your affiliate website url. Since they’ve already made the site for you, there’s no site building or other technical knowledge required.

Then, each time someone goes through your website and is approved for a credit card, you earn a commission. Some of these cards have a payout as much as $121. Most are in the $30 to $75 range. It doesn’t take long to see that there is a lot of potential here.

Currently they’re offering a 14 day trial for $1. After that, they’ll charge you $37 per month until 4 people have been approved for credit cards through your website, then it’s free. I was able to get 4 sign ups easily within the 14 day trial so my website was free. Click here to learn more about this program.

Most of these types of programs will charge a fee until you have a certain number of sign ups through your website. This is in part to keep people from signing up for their affiliate program and then doing nothing. They only want Affiliate Marketers who will be promoting their affiliate sites. This is why most will give you the website after you’ve signed up a certain number of people that are approved for a credit card.

WAYS TO PROMOT YOUR OWN CREDIT CARD WEBSITE

The nice thing that I like with credit card affiliate programs is that offline promotion is very effective. Once I had my website, I went and had some free business cards made up. The first batch simply said “Bad Credit? Need A Credit Card?” across the middle of the business card in bold print. Below that my Website url. I had 500 business cards made up the first time and left these everywhere I went. Grocerie stores, drive-in’s, bulletin boards around various busineeses (especially cafe’s) and so on. This is how I managed to get 7 sign-ups within my 14 day trial.

Later on I tried taking out small ads in several Thrifty Shopper type papers around my community. I think I was able to get a 1 month run with a business card ad for around $125.

The first week, I only had 1 sign-up. The second week I had 4, the third week I had 5 and the fourth week I had 9 signups. I then continued the ad for another month and my sign-ups leveled out between 7 and 14 per week. The longer it ran, the better it did on average simple because it was always in front of them when they opened the shopper.

I talked to one lady in Illinois who makes a full time income by taking out business card ads in Home Owner Association newsletters. She says most of these ads only cost her $5 to $10 per month for each Newsletter.

And that’s the trick to making credit card affiliate programs pay off, just as with any affiliate program, get your affiliate link in front people who want what you have to offer.

Although I haven’t tried it yet, a Classified Ad in small Local and Regional newspapers may also do just as good. In my area, I could take out one ad and have it placed in 8 different local community newspapers for about $90 per month.

Ways To Promote Your Credit Card Website Online

Now that I’ve showed you a few effective ways to market you credit card affiliate website offline, let me show you a few ways to do it online.

Basically, the way I started out marketing my own credit card affiliate website was the same method I used in the January $2500 Challenge. I signed up in several forums and answered questions about debt, finance, family related questions and questions about credit cards. My signature had a link to my site in it. In some post, where it was relevant, I left a link to my site.

I also promoted my affiliate website on Yahoo Answers and Wiki’s whenever I answered a question and where a link made sense and was helpful. If you go in and start throwing links all over the place, you’ll be banned in no time flat.

As I became busier with other affiliate ventures and my time was limited, I eventually built a website about Family Finance and had several links to a few of my credit card programs on the site. This site is one of my biggest earners still today. It’s pretty much on auto pilot, all I do is promote the site a few hours a week.

And that’s how I make money with Credit Card Affiliate Programs. I’ve been doing it a few years and once you get your system down, I think you’ll find that this is a pretty simple way to earn income. I find it a lot easier than promoting some other affiliate programs, but everyone is different. If nothing else, sign up for a trial and give it a try to see if you’ll like it. You never know, you might have a big earner on your hands.

Affiliate Marketing for Beginners

Affiliate marketing for beginners can be confusing and downright costly. But it doesn’t have to be.

Many new people to affiliate marketing don’t know how to get started so they end up jumping in to a program or system. Generally this leads to failure and they’re looking for the next quick money maker. They can spend a lot of money and time on programs that do not work. After they fail or make little money for their effort, they’re ready to proclaim to the world that affiliate marketing is a fraud and scam.

This doesn’t have to be the experience you take away from affiliate marketing. With a little patience and planning, affiliate marketing can be enjoyable and profitable. But it won’t be overnight!

AFFILIATE MARKETING MAY NOT BE FOR YOU

Let’s face it, affiliate marketing may not be the right way for beginners to make money online. Some do not have the knowledge or the ‘want to’ to spend large amounts of time building websites and blogs, doing keyword research, learning SEO in order to get their websites and blogs ranked high and researching the best affiliate marketing program for their needs.

Some people just want to jump in and start making money online. That’s alright too. There are programs for beginners and those who just want to make some quick money without going to the hassle of building websites.

Project Payday is an unique program that allows anyone to get started making money quickly without special skills or knowledge and without a website. In fact, it’s so easy that they guarantee that if you’ll follow the 4 easy steps outlined and do not make money in 24 hours, they’ll give you $100. It doesn’t get much easier than this!

Freelance Writing is becoming more and more popular due to all the Companies and Individual Internet Marketers looking for Web Content. Some freelancers will go at it on their own while others choose to get started making money quick by joining a membership site like Freelance Home Writers. Members of this site get to choose which freelance writing jobs they want. Companies and Individuals alike can post writing jobs at the site and the Members can pick and choose which jobs they want to accept based on the project or how much the job pays. Normally with this kind of membership site, you can choose how much, or how little, you want to work.

Other affiliate marketing beginners find eBay a very attractive start. There are a ton of ways to make money with eBay. You can simple get started by visiting Garage Sales in your area looking for bargains and reselling them on eBay. You really have to know what you’re looking for and how much the item is really worth or you could end up with a house full of junk that you can’t sell. That’s why the beginning eBay Entrepreneur should get one of the many starter kits out there designed to show you what you need to know to become a good Seller on eBay. Most of these kits, like the eBay For Dummies Starter Kit, will also have resources to wholesalers and DropShippers should you ever want to really make it big as a Power Seller on eBay.

Blogging with Adsense: How to Get Started Blogging with Adsense

Ever since the Internet first came into use, people have tried to find ways to profit from it. Throughout the course of the Internet, over the past decade or so, several different programs have come to light which have helped people to make a substantial amount of money. One of these programs is offered by Google and once you have an account with Google, you can run their ads on your blog. It is an excellent way for you to make some extra money for your efforts, or even to start a business that can become a source of income. As a matter of fact, blogging with Adsense is one of the easier ways to get started making money that is currently available.

The first thing that you are going to need to do is to establish an account with Google so that you could begin running the ads on your blog. In order for you to do this, you are either going to need to have an established website that you are hosting on your own server or a blog that is running on blogger.com. Although it is possible for you to make money by using the blogger.com service, it is a much better idea for you to have your own domain and hosting so that you have total control over all aspects of the software.

There are some add-on programs that can easily be incorporated with your blogging software which will automatically insert the Adsense into your blog posts. This is easily accomplished for any future post that you are going to make. For any existing blog posts that have already gone on the Internet, you might want to consider having somebody edit your template or editing them yourself in order to begin blogging with Adsense using your pre-existing content.

You may also want to consider changing the size and position of your ads from time to time. This type of testing will allow you to see which add positions will generate the most clicks and therefore, the most profit.

Blogging with Adsense allows you to make money and you can either use it as your sole source of profit from your blog or you can simply incorporate it into your blog in order to generate additional cash. Either way, it is something that Google provides for you which can make finding sponsors for your blog a lot easier.

Finally, if you're really interested in blogging with Adsense then you must watch these videos at www.BloggingProductAnalysis.com . But HURRY...these videos will be pulled from the masses soon. In fact, if you act quickly you may even be able to grab their Blogging Secrets eCourse for FREE!

How To Get Your Email Past Clients' Spam Filter

With growth rates of spam, phishing, and email-borne malware showing no signs of abating, more and more ISPs and enterprises are implementing stronger protective measures.
Many of these anti-spam techniques are well known to those of us in the email industry tasked with managing “deliverability” – the art and science of getting email delivered to a user’s inbox in a timely and fully-functional fashion.

Ever since the first anti-spam measures began to be widely deployed in the mid-1990s, legitimate emails have occasionally been caught in the net and deleted, delayed, or shunted to “spam” folders.

As the economy tightens, many companies are refocusing their advertising and marketing efforts on email, and as a result many enterprise IT managers are getting a crash course in deliverability issues.

As I have noted in many, many, many columns, there are a number of technical and infrastructure issues that can affect a company’s deliverability.

What IT managers and their “clients” in the marketing department need to realize is that technical issues are only the tip of the iceberg. Yes, the technical people tasked with deliverability need to be aware of the impact of the content of the messages, not just the mechanics of sending them.

Over on the Media Post blog, David Baker has written an excellent piece encouraging marketers to make sure that they keep their email recipients engaged. He writes:

“Look closely at the core reason customers entered your email program and gave you permission to send them email in the first place, and expect that opt-in connection to last only so long before you have to re-engage them or expand your email portfolio for this changing need.”

On many occasions over the years I have been called upon to investigate situations in which legitimate marketers have had their permission-based emails flagged with the “This is Spam” button (or “TIS,” among us hipsters in the deliv biz). This can be disastrous for email deliverability because many ISPs weigh user feedback via the TIS button much more heavily than any other measure of reputation.

Why do people click the TIS on email that they specifically opted-in to receive? It turns out that there are two main reasons: sending too much email, and not sending enough.

Second only to sending too much email (“email fatigue”), customers who haven’t heard from you in a long time are more likely to have forgotten that they gave you permission and to punish you for their forgetfulness! Building on this, making them remember you is good, but making them look forward to your messages is better.

Luckily, marketers have a secret weapon: they often have an array of creative and resourceful ways of making their messages – and their brands – memorable and compelling.

In the privacy world, we’ve always known that consumers will give up a great deal of personal information for very little in return. Just recently, I watched an entire family write their names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses on slips of paper and slide them into the cracked-open window of a gorgeous new 2008 Jaguar XF parked near the food court of a local shopping mall.

While the ultimate marketing value of that data is dubious, the lesson is clear: people will give valuable information in exchange for something as simple as a few moments of dreaming about winning a new car.

Making a compelling offer that keeps consumers excited to receive and read your messages can be as simple as a discount code or as elaborate as a snazzy new ride. Regardless of what your creative vision comes up with, it should be something relevant to their relationship with you and enhances their impression of your brand.

In my experience, some of the best examples come from the resorts in Las Vegas. Even if I’m not able to take advantage of every new special offer, discount, or event promotion, the messages are regularly compelling enough that I wouldn’t think of unsubscribing -- much less clicking the TIS button.

It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between keeping customers engaged versus annoying them. I agree with Dave Baker that keeping consumers engaged is important, but you’ll be positioned even better if recipients are remembering you fondly because you’re delivering something really compelling.

If you are tasked with managing deliverability, whether you’re a marketer or an IT expert, you need to understand that the messaging contained in emails can weigh just as heavily on deliverability as technical and infrastructure considerations.

Compelling email can be as much about improving and maintaining deliverability as it can be about making the sale. Or, to mangle the great line from Alec Baldwin’s character in “Glengarry Glen Ross”: Always Be Compelling!
